Steadfast Networks

I've been working with Steadfast Networks for all of my hosting needs for over a year now and they have been, by far, the best hosting company I have ever worked with. With not only the best user support I've ever witnessed they also have some of the best prices I've ever seen.

When I first started looking around for a replacement to my Network Solutions account, I really wasn't sure who to go with. I enjoyed Network Solutions, I used to work for them, but after leaving the job I couldn't afford to keep them. My first thought was to go with GoDaddy, because they are a big company with cheaper prices than Network Solutions, but for whatever reason I didn't. I found Steadfast Networks.

I was initially attracted by the price. I wanted to run a blog (the one your reading right now), and I didn't want to spend a lot of money. Steadfast Networks offers a Shared Hosting Starter Plan for only $24.95 a year! You can read all about what they offer on their site (link above).

Once I purchased my package I found that the control panel was really easy to use. Everything is well organized and with the Shared Hosting package the Dashboard offers everything you need with one click.

I survived for nearly the first full year running my one little blog on the Starter Package, but eventually wanted to expand. I wanted to migrate my band's website into my account as well as build a few others. I contacted their support team and they quickly gave me step by step instructions on how to do what I needed to do in a human readable email (not too much tech jargon). So I upgraded my package to the Shared Hosting Basic Plan. Now I'm running not only JohnNemec.com, but also Achalachia.com, Paranormal-web.com and PastorEducationalConsulting.com. Not to mention all the test sites that live in subdomains that popup ever once in a while.

Now, just recently, I've started my own Web Design/Development company (domain coming soon!), and I plan to host the sites that I build for my clients on Steadfast. The best plan for me to do this, and to control the environment that I'm working on, was to purchase a Reseller Hosting package. Now I don't want to get into the business of web hosting, that's Steadfast Networks job, but I will take advantage of their convenient package.

I did run into problems with the package. Truth be told, I don't know what I'm doing. I can build webpages (mainly in Drupal and Wordpress), but when it comes to servers and hosting, I'm a moron. So for my first time in my relationship with Steadfast Networks, I had to call them for support over the phone. The person I spoke with reassured me that I was on the right track and that he could help me with whatever I needed.

Long story short, Steadfast Networks has gone above and beyond in helping me. In fact, as I write this, they are reconfiguring the package for me (I messed some things up). The poor person that I've been bothering for over 3 hours now has been more than kind and dumbed everything down so that even I can understand. The best part is, when I do something wrong, they don't just fix it for me, they explain why it happened and what I can do to do it right the next time.

I would advise anyone looking for hosting to go through Steadfast Networks. Get a Starter Hosting Package and upgrade when needed.

Note: This is my personal opinion. I do not work for Steadfast Networks now nor have I ever. If you don't receive the wonderful service I have, don't blame me, I'm just here to tell you about my experience.
