To be completely honest, I haven’t played the game in over a year. When I upgraded to the iPhone 4 I never bothered to transfer it. I grew tired of it and really didn’t see a need to play World War for the iPhone anymore. That being said, from what I do remember, it didn’t cost you anything to have an alliance member, and the benefits were great. They could have changed the rules since I’ve left.

Also, if you notice the post date on this article is January 6, 2010! So you really cant expect the article to be the most current information.

I also don’t appreciate the rude comments. A simple, you know, the rules have changed, you should probably update your article would suffice. Now me being the nice guy that I am I’m NOT going to sensor you (within reason), I allow your comment knowing that my readers will see right through your troll-like commenting.

this guy isnt right….you dont need 5 alliances per level…all that does is end up costing you tons of money…you only need as many alliances as are required by the missions you are on, the more alliances the more defense and attack units you need, which means the more you spend on upkeep every hour. i am level 130, and i have 89 alliances, my upkeep is a minimum, and i cant tell you the last time someone attacked me and won, dont listen to this jabroni
