Activate iPhone Music Without Unlocking

by John Nemec on September 21st, 2009

iphone-music-playerEver find yourself driving somewhere listening to some great music on your iPhone and that one song in your play-list that you can’t stand starts playing. You quickly pick up your iPhone to change the track but it has gone to sleep. So you find yourself clicking the Home button, then sliding you finger from left to right to unlock it, clicking the iPod icon, navigating through the playlist and finally selecting the next song. And if your anything like me you have more than one song in your iPhone play-list that you’re not always in the mood for. With all this work you are bound to take your eyes off the road at least once, and I’m sure the last thing you want to do is have a traffic accident because of your iPhone.

Well, I’m here to save live and money. You can activate your iPod play-list on your iPhone without even unlocking your phone.

It’s as simple as double clicking your Home button. When you hear that song you don’t like, simply click the Home button once to wake your iPhone up, then double click the Home button and your music player will show up. No need to slide fingers to unlock or even look at your screen. After a while you’ll just know where the forward and backward track buttons are on the screen that you wont even need to glance at that.

Spread the word and save a life, and keep your eyes on the road.

  1. Thanks! I’ve been wondering why my iphone keeps playing music and draining the battery when I haven’t turned it on. Now I realize that my home button is getting pushed inside my bag. A HA!!
