UFOs Invade St. Louis?
In my daily surfing of the interwebs, this post jumped out at me. Unknown Object Photographed Over St. Louis.

UFO Flying Over St. Louis - Photograph by Michael
Michael claims, on UFODigest.com, that he took a photograph of an unknown object flying East over St. Louis on Friday August 14th. He said he took the photograph of the UFO using a tripod and a 2.5 second shutter speed.

To me it seems that from a distance it could be anything, but if you use one of his zoomed in pictures it looks more like an airplane. There are two lines, a solid and a dashed. I’m going to assume that the solid is the normal light from the windows while the dashed is the wing light. There is also a small point of light on the solid line above each dashed line, to me it seems like it must be another light synchronized with the wing light.
It looks like this St. Louis UFO has been debunked, at least in my mind, but have you ever seen a UFO, in St. Louis or anywhere? I want to hear your story, and if you have pictures, I would like to see them as well.

Yep, it’s clearly something blurred, like an airplane. It irks me when UFO hunters try to pass crap like this off as a possible alien craft, especially in cases where it’s clearly an insect flipping its wings and creating a wavy/dashed light. Or when ghost hunters see a piece of dust that is picked up by the night vision light and is claimed to be a “sprite”.
That looks like the area up around where the hospitals are… no? First glance and I thought “Looks like helicopter props… did this guy Photoshop out the rest?” but that’s just me.
That’s the problem with Digital Photography and Photoshop, unless you see the original digital file or the film you may never know if the image is a fake.
Taking a look at the image again, it could be anything and assuming that it really is on the image I guess it is a UFO in the true sense of the word. And Unidentified Flying Object.
I’m sure if anyone truly cared enough they could get the flight plans for that day and find out what was in the sky in that area around that time. If they say that a helicopter or plane was there around then, case solved. But if they claim nothing was there at all, that’s a whole different story.
i don’t know what you guys are talking about! It MUST be a UFO, the proof is in the picture!
Just because you don’t want to believe doesn’t mean you should close your eyes to the truth. UFO’s are real, deal with it!
The only rational way to find the truth is to keep an open mind. If you believe strongly that UFOs are real but refuse to listen to other opinions, you end up hurting your case and no one will believe you even if you had hard evidence in UFOs. On the other hand, if you refuse to even accept the idea that there could be other life out there just doesn’t sound rational to me. You can never prove a negative. But I also say “Bless you,” when someone sneezes, to ward off evil spirits, so, so much for rationality.
